Dr. Donna M. West is a noted Southern California dermatologist in practice for over 20 years and former faculty member of Loma Linda University. A complete array of services and procedures for medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology are offered at her Newport Beach office by a physician who really cares about her patients. In addition, as a result of her PhD training in chemistry, Dr. West has extensive expertise and a unique perspective on skin. Dr. West’s motto is “Healthy skin is young skin.”

Along with treating the specific concerns of her patients, she helps them design treatment plans based on improving the health of the skin. She also addresses other aging factors such as 3D volume loss which occurs uniquely in each of us as we age. Dr. West believes that good nutrition, both internally and externally, will enhance the outcome for her patients and makes recommendations taking in the consideration the whole health of her clients.
Education
Dr. Donna M. West received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, a PhD in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine with additional training from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University. Her dermatology residency was completed at Loma Linda University where she was Chief Resident for the Department of Dermatology. She is a former faculty member at Loma Linda University which included participation in dermatology research programs. Her extensive research training from both her PhD and MD degrees makes her uniquely qualified to recognize and custom tailor treatments for her patients.
